Fourth Birthday: Phase One

Ezra's birthday this year started out on the 5th of March and ended late in the day March 8th, which is why we're going to need to do the Birthday Blog Reporting in four phases. We started the celebration by baking and decorating a cake together. I hadn't planned on eating it that day too, but after spending so much time making the cake Ezra really, really, really wanted to eat some. So we busted out the candles, sang the song, and got the party started!

If you think the cake looks familiar, you are most likely remembering last year's cake. This year Ezra wanted a replica. It's not a replica, but last year I made the cake by myself whereas this year Ez helped. Need I say more regarding the overcrowded dinosaurs?

Licking the candles, and the dinosaurs.

Phase One also included sparklers and those things that you throw on the ground to make a pop! noise, as well as party poppers (not pictured).

He liked the sparklers.

He couldn't throw the pop! things on the ground hard enough to make them pop so we got out the hammer.

Next Phase: Disney World: The Magic Kingdom
