Easter & Grandma Visit & Etc.

 Ezra and Corina's daughter (I'm spacing out on her name!!) made this sculpture of a cemetery with pine cones and wood chips. She's a little sad because we were supposed to go to the zoo that day but didn't make it...

Nuts About Nature

Sorry for being such a poor poster as of late! We have been taking care of children non stop for 2 weeks and with school work on top of that it leaves little time for the poor, neglected blog.

So, at the end of April Ezra stopped going to Trillium Pre School where he'd been attending since September. It was a combination of reasons, but mostly that I felt as though Ezra had gotten all he was going to get out of the class. I decided to enroll him in some other classes, including a class called Nuts About Nature that meets every Wednesday in Whitiker Ponds Park, a lovely reserve with lots of birds, slugs, plants, frogs, trees, and beauty to explore.

He LOVES his new nature school, and I tagged along last week and shot this short film following the class. It's not the best quality, I was fooling around with some new-to-me technology that I definitely stand to improve upon, but I hope you enjoy seeing his cute little face (and more, watch til the end, there's a grand finale of sorts!!).
