Ezra's snack. Watermelon, peanut butter bread, and weapons.
I apologize for not posting for some time. It is true that all things have seemed at least slightly trivial since Cristian's death, including blog posting. Also, I didn't have the internet. But now I do! So here's what we've been doing for the past month and a half. I am thinking I will be better at posting now that I can do it from the comfort of my couch.
We went to Beloved Festival at the beginning of August with some new friends. It was fairly wonderful, although nothing compared to the Winnipeg Folk Festival.
This horse head showed up one morning.
Ezra, armed.
Another trip in August pictured here. We went with Nikkie and her mom Jo to Lewis River in Washington. It was gorgeous, as you can see.
Ez just loves the tongue out look lately.
Nikkie and her mom jumped from here! I would have but you know who wasn't havin' that.
About to jump...
Eeeeeek!
There were several days that were way to hot to be in our house so we went to the mall with Maya! And ate candy! At this little table!
No tongue out there at least.
Ezra and I also went to the Oregon County Fair. There was a petting zoo that we entered and we saw this poor, scared wallabee. There were also goats, donkeys, pigs, and deer. One of the deer tried to eat Ezra's shirt.
We rode on the chair lift tour over the fair. The whole sticking out your tongue for pictures thing is wearing off.
The reason that we went to the fair was to help our friend Lucy who is a glass blower. She and two other glass blowers set up shop and blow glass for the fair, so they needed someone to help taking money for their sales. Ezra loved the glass blowing, and even got to blow an ornament!
Lucy is holding and shaping the glass as Ezra blows into the tube.
You can see it's getting bigger. His breath is in there!
He thought that was waaaay cool. He was way less interested in the fair than in the glass blowing.
We have been hanging out with great friends a lot and trying to be positive. We're really thankful to have each other.
Ezra started preschool at Trillium Charter school just 4 blocks from our house!
I'll try to get some pictures one of these days to show his way cool classroom.
Hope you're well.
